Job Description

ClearWater is expanding and in search of experienced superintendents who have a background working with unions to play a crucial role in executing successful projects. The ideal candidates will possess a keen eye for safety, quality, schedule adherence, and cost management. This role requires candidates with a strong civil and heavy construction background. In this role, you will define project objectives and work closely with Turnaround and/or Construction Managers.  What would you be doing?

  • Provide supervision to multiple crews and services within a union environment. 
  • Prepare, monitor, and drive project schedule with the operations team to ensure budget and timelines are met.
  • Estimate and manage project labour and material requirements.
  • Establish, implement, and oversee site safety plans and quality control measures,
  • Manage resources to maintain and enhance critical equipment performance.

Does this sound like you?

  • Is results-oriented, passionate about construction and has proven experience managing construction sites.
  • Extensive experience in supervisory roles on industrial client sites with a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Experienced in civil or heavy construction.  
  • Journeyperson ticket in a mechanical or electrical trade is considered an asset.
  • Proven leader who motivates people and maintains effective relationships with clients and crew.
  • Have valid safety tickets such as CSTS, Standard First Aid, and Common Safety Orientation (CSO).
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of a drug and alcohol testing.
